Oishi Hibachi looked promising as a hibachi option close by for a quick solo lunch on my work break, but unfortunately the food missed the mark on almost every item I tried. Inside is clean, and the cashier at the counter was very nice when I walked in, with my order ready and bagged up neatly. Sadly, the fried rice ended up being the only real highlight of the meal. It was sticky in a good way, still fluffy, and had decent flavor. The rest of the hibachi plate was a letdown. The sauce pooled under the vegetables didn’t have much taste at all, and the chicken had an odd, slightly crunchy texture that made it seem undercooked rather than crispy. The crab rangoons tasted like they were missing the crab entirely, with the filling coming across as plain cream cheese and no real seafood flavor. The soup that came with the meal was also questionable. It had some odd‑looking floating bits and an off smell, so I skipped it altogether. I thought the sushi would at least help redeem things, but even that fell apart when I tried to pick up each piece, which made it feel like it was wrapped with lower‑quality nori or just not rolled well. This sushi spot is a hidden gem. Food is always fresh and consistently so good. I have dined here and also ordered take out and always enjoy their food. The crispy rice app is delicious and the dancing crab stick roll is one of my favorites. Def recommend!

Really delicious neighborhood joint with friendly, clean, and quick service. Every dish we’ve either ordered or eaten while we’ve been dining in has been awesome! The hibachi dishes have especially been absolutely stellar. All their dishes are always well plated, generously portioned, and delectably delicious! Even friends I’ve ordered take out for haven’t been able to stop eating because the flavor is so on point! Definitely recommend this place. Although it has a take out sort of feel, the sit down area is well kept and well-serviced by the staff.

This is definitely a new hidden gem in Cherry Hill! Unassuming outside in the strip mall opens up to a beautiful vibey interior. Wonderful place to dine in. The service was great and the server was very helpful in helping recommend special rolls. The only thing better than the service was the food! I already can’t wait to go back and try more. The fish was super fresh and flavorful as well as perfectly seasoned rice worth every penny (and reasonably priced all around!) everything including the sides tasted fresh. The hibachi came out perfectly cooked with great chew to the noodles and the chicken plentiful. Dangerously located a 2 minute walk from my work. I would recommend anyone to try here 10/10!
